Copyright and fair use

In this huge improvement and spread of technologies at everywhere such as Trading, industry, medicine, and Education, there are many of ways to share every knowledge through the internet. Anyone can find a beautiful picture, amazing video, nice music, or important information that could help with their research. Some people will use anything of these without ask the permission from the owner. In this case This would be the unfair use, so we must use and share the content under just the fair use. We can exchange the knowledge under the law of Copyright and fair use.

We have to know the rule of get anything from the internet, and we have to realize that each file on web has an owner. The owner could be corporation, government, or person. therefore, we must follow the rules that belong for the internet law. For example, copy a single copy of a document of personal would be a fair use, but no more that paper without permission from the owner and so on about picture, videos, and music that are belong with different rules. Nowadays, Copyright and Fair Use is one of sciences that still not understand to some people. We should explain that very clear to our community, students, employee and our family too.

Sharing

We discussed the importance of sharing. So, when a teacher shares an idea or a way of doing something with another teacher, it will help them shape the idea better, and then when they share their idea with another teacher who may be outside the scope of their school - through social media for example, that would be contributes to the benefit of others and may benefit from other experiences that may improve and develop their idea for the better.

Open Education

Students can download many applications to their mobile devices, and there are many companies that provide educational applications that can be used to enrich knowledge. For example, Apple currently conducts scientific research on the use of mobile devices in the educational environment intensively. In this research, iPods, iPads and iPhones are used to measure their impact on student achievement, and their data have so far proved very successful and strongly support students when using mobile devices in the learning environment.
Students will be able to take photos, record videos, communicate with teachers and colleagues, record lectures, access the Internet, download books and educational applications, enhance their educational experience and many more.
Teachers will oversee the integration of these educational tools efficiently into the course program to make the learning process more smooth and useful. So in my opinion the open education will be the future of learning, I advise you to see this video again: ”Open Education Matters: Why is it important to share content?,” on YouTube, and I think this video explained clearly what is open education is.

Thank you.
